    Vicious Cycle

One day you’ll find me here

Waiting for the time of my return

Blooming out of my shell of fear

Please be the reason I’ve arrive at this place

Be my sanctity as I am awoken once again

For once in my life feelings of truth are developed

    Time is restored anew

So much of life is wasted in waiting

Actions speak keys to our existence

Keeping our sanity well grounded to the cause

Life and nurturing overcoming the sickness we’re plagued with

Restoration on a whole new plain

Love and life are an unending cycle of truth and trust

Chasing dreams through the ages of generational gaps

Time telling time how to feel

Love and lust confusion being tainted by the media

    Influenced to our offspring

    The vicious cycle continues

Thankyou very much, and yes I am an ameture, as I've only just begun writing. I've always appreciated fine works of literature and poems and writings in my life but never really took a stab at it until now.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
