Urban Girl
Standing at the bus stop
Sucking on a lollipop
Face caked up
With make up
Mini skirt on
Thinking she bad to the bone
Watching all the cars go by
Hoping to catch one to the Dope boys eye
The last one already hit it
So of course he already quit it
She doesn't care
He gave her some money for her hair
Fourteen years old baby girl
Lying saying she 17 almost legal to the world
Don't understand her worth
Mama didn't care for her at her birth
Don't know who her daddy is
All she know her mama got six kids
Don't know she headed the same route
Don't know she being assasinated by self doubt
Not worrying about no STD's
Just worrying about getting on her knees
All because they told her she good
And they running her damn name through out the hood
Her girls ain't no better
Birds of a feather flock together
A group of lil girls turning tricks
Ready to lay on their backs and licky lick
All because of what they didn't get taught
All because they never got caught
Caught up with the reality of death
Not taking heed a STD could bring on your last breath
I wish they had a place where they could go
Go and learn to just say no
No to this scandolous world and fast life
Rescued before they end in constant strife.
