Unfortunate Passtime
As i sit her, trying to busy my mind, thought of me and you start to unwind.
it's times like now, i try to take out my pain,
try as i might, thoughts remain.
i think about, hug after hug,
your arms around me, felt so snug.
i remember how, after i held your hand,
my knees shook so bad, i could barely stand.
i remember we, you kissed my forehead,
remembering makes, me feel dead.
i remember when, you kissed my cheek,
i wanted to say, i love you, but could not speak.
thought of you, never vanish,
with out them, i'm famished.
then my mind, is busy once more,
someone enters; closes the door.
however thoughts of you, are inevitably dormant,
soon they'll rise, as an unforgetable scent.
