Unfinished Past

Unfinished Past

Sudden pang, vague respite,
Staggering girl, burning thighs,
Whispers escape with soft cries
at night.

Her plight so fertile
her brilliance well finished.
Mysteries of a heart grown old,
Eyes full circle under twilight skies,

Wandering will treads streams of  air,
Conquering world battles all her
convictions.

Peace kneeling at her splendor,
Passion pulsating beneath last grasp,
Overwhelmed by pure serenity
Thus farewell of the mind
to reckon with eternity and
ponder on a past.

Again, thank you for your reassuring words Your poetry is truly heartfelt. Again, thank you and keep writing which you do uniquely

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
