Sunny

This amazing new stranger
with big beautiful brown eyes,
with dimpled cheeks ,
with rolls and folds,
from bone to bone.

She cures all my ills and
warms my heart.
With few words and her
innocence smile, my spirit's
burdens are forever gone.

Without encouragement, she
refashions my dreams
with home life scenes.

A song for her is forever sung
and to be touched by her is straight
from God.

Thank you, I am so pleased you enjoyed my poem. Your poems are of enjoyment also. Thank you, again

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
