Mean Soul

    Mean Soul

You yell and scream and spew your
    hate.

You growl and roar in your attempt
    to intimidate.

Your are everything I dislike in life.

Your are everything that blurs my
    sight.

On, I pray to end this - for it has become my plight for
I cannot save this hateful soul.

You are full of mean... you will never refrain.

You are full of gruel....you will never abstain.

It is words like your comment and the innermost being of the soul that keeps us writing to the degree we do. Thank you. And I will keep writing.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
