    Tommorow will Come

    Tommorow will come
    And today will be gone
    Just another day in history
    That is recorded by time

    A world is left behind
    Every day people say goodbye
Nothing much that we can do
Its just the way of life

    Yesterday was the past
    But will anyone know?
    Was anything done
    for the generations to show...

    Will the future children
    Ever find out
    That today someone died
    No its nothing new

It is just the way of life
Life should be lived with goals
So that the past will be new to the future
Because even though we dont want it,

    Tommorow will still come,

It seemed that there was a loss of someone in this poem. The grief that one feels over a loss of loved one. They will leave and we are left for a time to serve some purpose to those around us. We can honor their memories by giving to others the way they gave to us.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
