To Whom It May Concern
I was looking through my folders of poems and found this one I wrote it a couple of years after 9/11 so I thought I would share it with you, please let me know what you think....
Thanks!!
To whom it may concern,
What were you doing,
On the day the World ceased it's turning?
Was it fear or anger,
That built up inside,
As you saw the Giant Twins burn?
To whom it may concern,
Did you kneel to pray,
Or did you curse the day?
So many questions,
So much to learn,
So many were taken,
On the dreadful day the World ceased to turn.
To whom it may concern....
To whom it may concern,
I still recall on my T.V.,
People in panick,running,crying,and screaming,
As black with smoke the sky did turn.
To whom it may concern,
You crippled us for a moment,
As if in a wrinkle of time,
You just watch though,
We will return,
To whom it may concern....
Yes,to whom it may concern,
The Lady in the Harbor,
Her torch still burns bright,
And the Eagle,still sores high,
Oh can't you see,
From sea to bright shining sea,
Our Flag still waves for Justice and Liberty,
To whom it may concern....
To whom it may concern,
For every action,
There is an equal reaction,
We will make you cower in fear,
When our Salute's you hear,
Hussein and Osama,in Hell you will burn,
To whom it may concern....
On that day and evryday after,
The Pledge of Allegiance means so much,
America-In God We Trust,
We are trusting only in Thee,
You will bring your Victory,
To whom it may concern.
