    Poem Commentary

    My daughter and I sat down and wrote this together,we wanted to express our gratitude and thanks to Jesus Christ.We are all so blessed to have a King like Jesus.He was no ordinary man,He was extra-ordinary,the real life HERO!!!

    Jesus My King
    You proceed me,
    Walk behind me,
    Stand beside me,
    You surround me.
    You knew me,
    You know me,
    You saw me,
    You see me,
    You know everything about me.
    You love me,
    Created me,
    You complete me.

    You watch me,
    Catch me,
    Carry me,
    You call out to me.
    You were jailed for me,
    Went to trial for me,
    You lived for me,
    Was beaten for me,
    Died for me,
    You arose for me.

    You search me,
    Test me,
    Look straight through me,
    No matter how ugly,
    The portrait of me maybe,
    Still you love me.

    You bring pleasure to me,
    Joy to me,
    Peace to me,
    Loving me,
    Holding me,
    Caring for me,
    Protecting me,
    You satisfy me.
    For You are Jesus my King.
