Through and Through

Through and Through

Through the darkness,
Breath is still.
My hands, they tremble.
Afraid to feel.
To feel the tears fall from my face.
Shadows dance,
Exquisite grace.
Through the window,
Comes the moon.
Light once comforting,
Now so dim.
I need to find the light within.
But darkness pulls and tugs at me.
From all directions,
I'm stretched so thin.
I close my eyes,
Clench my hands.
My thoughts of you,
My only friends.
But even friends,
Have come to fade.

So I'll be gone,
At break of day.
I am Darkness,
Through and through.
You dont want me,
I dont need you.

I appreciate the support, I'm actually a very happy person. I have known sadness in the past, and therefore can write about it on occasion when it comes to mind. but I am in not form of a troubled time. :) It's all just a story.

Again i felt like i was on another ride going through your work as you flow right through it with each and every word. I hope you find the light in the still fo darkness because it is there :)

Cool...I too enjoy the 'darkness'. The dark side is a great place to find inspiration but even darkness needs a balance to keep it in check, that balance is throwing in either sarcastic or gory humor when the poem allows. A great write..well done!

I do love the dark poetry and you have written a gem. Darkness can not live in the presence of light as you aptly describe the darkness retreating. 10
