As Beautiful
As beautiful as a butterfly,As gentle as the rain.
A soothing flood of water to ease away the pain.
A lovely monarch's laughter, ripping through the dark
vibrating the pieces of a shattered crystal heart.
So long I have been walking, stepping, blind eyed
take another unexpected step onto the wings of a butterfly.
As the colors explode around you, and the beauty to behold.
Just to see it one more time you'd give a kings ransoming in gold.
The beautiful world that is her eyes I'd walk forever in
and softly pray to the gods that this should never end,
for the chance to hold an angel, I have one life to give
but once upon a time is just not enough to give.
So I write this to a butterfly as I begin to cry,
and tell you that I'll love you...until the day I die.
