Thoughts of the Past

Sitting around my thoughts begin to wonder

On so many things my mind seems to ponder

Thinking of the days long since passed

I never thought they would go so fast

I think of the things left unsaid

All the things I might have done instead

I know I shouldn't dwell on things I can't change

But it's hard when they're always staring you in the face

People and places stay the same

I only have myself to blame

The memories ever present at the back of my brain.

it's amazing how you put everything needed to make a great write and have it be so short. So little says so much with you, love it, great job. look forward to reading more.

nice expression of feelings and the way you typed it catches my eye keep penning...

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
