The Depression of Youth
Life can be so unfair.
There are so many who do not care.
They ignore the misery of the innocent.
How can they be so ignorant?
Oblivious to the ones who suffer in silence,
To the ones who go through life without guidance.
It is said that ignorance is bliss.
But I cannot agree with this.
Ignorance is nothing but indifference,
Causing nothing but strife and sorrow,
Giving those in anguish a bleak tomorrow.
And if things go on like this,
There will definitely be consequence.
The greatest price for turning our heads,
Is that the ones unhappy and in pain end up dead.
