    Those Nights

We only had 3 nights together,
Each one I felt light as a feather,
But I remember all those other nights,
We weren’t going out but they felt so right.

Talking all night not wanting to say goodbye,
Id tell you that you’re the missing part of my life,
During the day we couldn’t be,
But when darkness came we were set free.

    Remember when we laugh,
We’d do all we could not to get each other mad,
We were so young and confused,
I felt like the time given wasn’t being used.

How I wish those nights would last,
    Remembering everything in the past,
My dark room was lit by the t.v. light,
Those nights are the ones that kept me right.

The nights before I asked you out,
All those nights of I’ve lost count,
Those are the ones we really expressed,
We were happy instead of being stressed.

Those 3 nights ill cherish forever,
I think about them and all I can do is tremble,
For those nights I was actually happy,
We would start and finish laughing.

Those nights I didn’t want to end,
Laying I was glad on that bed,
Through all the hard times in my life,
    Those nights kept me alive.
