There's Use in Everything
The sad old fence broke, tumbling down
It fell apart, and hit the ground
It lost the power of strength it bore
Those long stood boards could stand no more
It must have been through time and trial
The old fence stood for quite a while
With sore eyes, one could plainly see
Just why it begged, “Get rid of me.”
A little boy felt sorry for
Those poor old boards that stood no more
He took the boards, with love inside
Built a tree house with joyful pride
The moral of this story goes
There’s use in everything that shows
Sometimes it takes a little one
To show the way to how it’s done
