    The Mexican Jumping Bean

I found a small Mexican jumping bean,

Tucked it in a place where it shouldn’t be seen.

I took it home, where I put it away

I forgot about it until one day.

This black thing came crawling out

With a Mexican hat, above its snout

It played a violin and danced and sang,

Behind it was a trail of a traveling gang.

I placed it outdoors on the cement floor

And they all stayed outside, close to the door.

The big black ant with the Mexican hat,

But the gang all left or got ate by the cat.
