Just for you

Subject: A poem for you:

             Just for You

This prayer near the wishing well, I wish this love for you.
I'd wish that over mountains that all your sky's are blue.

If you see a fluffy cloud in the corner of the sky,
Somewhere there is an angel that's watching, standing by.

God is about the universe and He hears your special prayer.
With hands on your every move.  He knows that you are there.

God paints colorful wild flowers, and trees on the green
And shows his works of love for you with His creative scene.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
