THE SHIMMERING BLOSSOMS
Oh! What beauties in color so fair
Together they make a lovely pair
Sprawled beside the water’s clear
Whispering in each other’s ears.
Letting their petals fall apart
As they hold each other dear to their heart.
Blossoms of spring, so may they be called
Shimmering in clear water, stalk, petal and all.
Resembling love of two hearts far apart
Carrying a love message to each other’s heart.
May these blossoms bloom and grow
As each other’s heart they come to know
As these waters reflect them face to face
Let them stand in sweet embrace
As time moves on these blossoms grow
As time moves on these hearts will know
As these blossoms in clear waters they see
So, in love’s own time they will be set free.
