FRIEND-SHIP
FRIEND-SHIP
Oh! What a ship!!
Sailing on high seas,
Winds blowing over
And waves beating high
No calm waters
No light can be seen
Only the wide dark sea
On which sails this ship
Called “Friendship”
The captain’s heart beats faster
As He sees his ship’s disaster
His sailors all desert him
He’s left alone to see
His ship called ‘Friendship’
Slowly sinking in deep sea.
A heart that nearly skips a beat
Comes quickly by his side
And whispers “Captain, your ship will not slide”
For two are better than one they say
I’ll stand by you, as we sail away.
Together they sail the high seas
Winds blowing over
And waves beating high
Together they beat them over
Not stopping by.
This ship will sail on forever.
