    THE PAIN INNER ME

The pain inner me is screaming for a voice
    It's release eminent so I haven't got a choice
I've tried so hard to contain this fury inside
Aggressive even it no longer chooses to hide
This stranger no longer wishes to be contained
Making her presence ever known and her name Pain
Giving her the proper introduction is where I come in
Defining the suffering she's endured and broadcasting the yells from deep within
To write her message is the mandate that I have been given
If I were a singer I'd sing in a melody so sweet
And if I were a DJ I'd mix it with every single beat
If I were a boxer this would be my best fight
But since i'm a writer I choose to write
This can be negative but I'll make it a plus
Though its quick to explode I refuse to bust
Instead I'll erupt on these words and let them breathe like fire
For she drives me and this compels me to build my empire

Express yourself then I loved this one too - I too have such feeling like those you go through. You can go to my page and you'll see for yourself - as you from each poem I put on my shelf. These are from my book that I share with you all - if someone is seeking new talent then tell them to call. My number is listed and my site's listed too - I hope to get signed by a company like you... KD

The way you covered this topic is great. The flow of the poems was a little eratic, but that is "writer's license" to shape the flow as you choose; so it remains a very good poem. Thanks

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
