(The lord’s redeemed)

God’s mercies are new every morning, this is very true
They are for everyone in Christ, but remember this clue
They are meant for forgiveness, not to be abused
By those living in sin, by the flesh, they’re amused
The word tells us, live in the spirit, not by the flesh
So let your light so shine, always bright, always fresh
God wants to use you for goodness, bringing honor to him
Live in righteousness & your blessings are fat, never slim

The lord renders to every man, according to his works
Blessed is the man, that fears the lord, here’s your perks
Wealth and riches will always be in your dwelling
blessings from the lord will be continuously swelling
an angel of the lord will surround them that fear
the lord and his righteousness, his judgement is here
his mercy endureth forever, lovingkindness here to stay
let the redeemed of the lord say so, this is god’s way
