THE LITTLE GIRL IN THE PARK

ONE DAY I WAS WALKING IN THE PARK,
I HAD TO GET BACK HOME , FOR IT WAS
GETTING DARK. WHEN OUT OF THE CORNER OF MY EYE,
I SPOTTED A LITTLE GIRL, THEN SHE BEGAIN TO CRY,

I SAID " ARE YOU LOST AND CAN'T FIND YOU WAY,
AND THIS IS WHAT SHE BEGAIN TO SAY,

"I CANT'T FIND MY MOMMY ,BUT I KNOW SHE IS HERE
SO I SAID COME WITH ME AS I WIPE AWAY HER TEAR.

WE'LL FIND YOUR MOMMY AND OFF WE WENT.
WE WALKED OVER TO A LADY WHO WAS UNDER A TENT,
I ASKED DO YOU KNOW HER MOMMY AND SHE REPLIED
MY HUSBAND DOESN'T KNOW HER AND NEITHER DO I,
I THEN SAID THANK YOU AND WE WERE ON OUR WAY,

THIS IS TURNING OUT TO BE NOT SUCH A GOOD DAY.
WE WALKED AND WALKED AND WALK SOME MORE
THEN I SEEN A BATHROOM , IT SAID WOMEN ON THE DOOR,
AS I REACH FOR THE KNOB TO OPEN , A LADY CAME OUT,
AND THAT IS WHEN I HEARD THIS LITTLE GIRL SHOUT,

THERE SHE IS , THATS' MY MOMMY, THANK GOD FOR THAT,
    CAUSE I WAS GETTING HUNGRY.

SO HER MOM SAID THANKS AND AS THEY WALKED IN THE DARK,
AND NOW YOU KNOW THE STORY ABOUT THE THE GIRL IN THE PARK .

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
