THE CLOUDS

GOD PUT CLOUDS IN THE SKY,
HE PUT THEM THERE FOR YOU AND I,

HE MADE THEM WHITE,CAUSE THEY WOULDN'T LOOK GREEN,
HE LEFT THAT UP TO THE GRASS,

THEN HE WENT AND MADE US,
HE SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST!

I like the unabashed brevity. As quick as a thought and then we move on. I was gonna say "cute" but that's pretty much exclusive for the girls to use.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
