That Thing

It's that thing you do,
that thing you said.
Like a river's water,
you overflow through my head.
Filling me up,
the feelings are rough.
Always too much,
but never enough.

It's that thing you say,
that thing you did.
Like an ocean's wave,
your crash is intrepid.
Giving me up,
the giving is tough.
Always too much,
but never enough.

And this thing with you,
this weight from you; 
i still wait for you.
And all i wanted,
in all we do.
This thing in me,
is that thing in you.
