Fixation

the perils of love
through the trials of trust.
the drive of dysfunction
through the labyrinth of lust.

mad and diseased
coiffed and teased.
a supermodel sultan
a con artist at ease.

with the night as our canvas
and the plan as our glue.
down to the underground
the Muni by 2:00.

up on the Castro
around the collingwood fence.
searching for webb
we run into prince.
down on our luck
we embark on his lair.
selling our souls
for something less fair.

an outfit we fix
through dysfunctional trust.
so begins our separation
our labyrinth of lust.
