Oceans

Oceans

Fallen angel;
from the fortress in your mind,
where once i descended into a world unkind.
Treading the light,
in the oceans of dark.
Drowned souls still swimming;
cruel intentions to embark.
Your desperate shelter mannered,
from one side to the other.
Hopeless tattered wings,
which left us with no cover.

Frozen angel;
in the fortress of your life,
where stark reality scars like the blade of a knife.
Stealing the night,
in the oceans of black.
Drowned world i swim in;
face first on my back.
My desperation faulters,
from one liar to another.
Hopeless scattered dreams,
left a spirit undercover.

Very well written, The loss and sense of disillusionment is strong in this piece. I enjoyed the read great job.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
