Tears
How heavy the rain fell that day
From burdened clouds of a mournful grey
The torrent forced them to stay their height
Composure swayed by onerous might
My skin, wrung wet with icy chill
As mud embraced that solid hill
But mind of mine had elsewhere gone
T'was clouds abandoned I was on
The driving drops advanced their gears
To camoflage my sneaking tears
Hence now did swell such floods of pain
To see me melt in this rain
On equal bearing now ere we
The rain, myself, in harmony
