    TAPS

I BURIED MY HUSBAND TODAY, AND ALL I CAN DO NOW IS PRAY.
I FEEL SO ALONE NOW THAT HE WENT HOME,
I KNOW GOD HAS HIS PLAN, BUT I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND, WHY HE TAKES HIM NOW,WHEN THEY PLAYED TAPS, I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO COLAPSE, YOU DID NOT DIE IN THE WAR, ONLY YOUR OWN, THAT WAS WORSE THAT YOU SHOWN, I MISS YOU SO MUCH, THANK GOD ARE CHILREN ARE HERE, OR I'D BE LIVING IN FEAR, BUT EVEN THEY WON'T ALWAYS BE NEAR, HOW DO I START A NEW LIFE WHEN I WAS YOUR WIFE, PLEASE LORD GIVE SOME PEACE, MY MIND IS JUST TO DEEP, I LOVE YOU STEVE, I HOPE YOU HEAR ME,BUT THATS ALL I FEEL I HOPE MY HEART HEALS, I KNOW YOU WANT US TO BE HAPPY THAT WAS ALWAYS YOUR GOAL, GOD REST YOUR SOUL.

Very hard period of your life. I can feel your pain, but also sense your hope for the future.

    nice tribute to your husband

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
