Sweet gental one
Tranquil now. Sweet gental one.
Veiled in death's embrace.
Return to Mother's bosom
To reap eternal grace.
Take this child,Oh Mother earth.
Tis you who take us all.
Treat her gently with your touch
No harm to her befall.
That her time was fleeting.
I could not this, foreknow.
Gone forever now is she.
Alas, I'll miss her so.
This frail, loving soul I give.
Begrudgingly to you.
But someday I and my love
Will once again be two.
