    Standing Up For Yourself
    I learned a long time ago
    about standing up for myself
    Standing up for those I love
    for those who may not be as strong
    I remember my daddy always telling me
    to stand up for what I believe in
    Stand up and just be me
    I've learned through the years
    Just how important
    taking a stand can be
    I take a stand for everything
    that is real to me
    I've learned you've got to stand for something
    or you'll fall for anyhting

    You be You
    I'll be Me
    together we take a stand.
