Sisters
You’re my sister
My friend
We quarrel
Fight
Scream
But even through all of this
I can’t imagine
Life without you
I love our
Random dance parties
With cheesy pop music
And broom microphones.
Bouncing out of control on the couch
Across the house
Tickle fights
That we know we’re too old for.
Hugs when the other is crying
Keeping secrets
Or telling them.
Telling bedtime stories that go on forever
And make no sense
Alligators
Red Jacket
Zoo
The random café where you meet “Him”
Talking about the boys we like
Or hate
And the friends
That make us angry
Heartbreaks
Headaches
Piggy back rides
That neither of us can really do anymore
Hair and Makeup
Just know
That no matter how often I whine
About you
About our family
About how annoying you are
That
I
Love
You
And no matter where I go
We will always be sisters
My friend
We quarrel
Fight
Scream
But even through all of this
I can’t imagine
Life without you
I love our
Random dance parties
With cheesy pop music
And broom microphones.
Bouncing out of control on the couch
Across the house
Tickle fights
That we know we’re too old for.
Hugs when the other is crying
Keeping secrets
Or telling them.
Telling bedtime stories that go on forever
And make no sense
Alligators
Red Jacket

The random café where you meet “Him”
Talking about the boys we like

That neither of us can really do anymore

Just know
That no matter how often I whine
About you

About how annoying you are
That
I
Love
You
And no matter where I go
We will always be sisters
