scissors

Scissors
used to seperate one from another
    pictures,
    clothing,
    objects,
    and sometimes
    skin

Scissors,
  two blades
    slicing through
      whether it be
        an old picture
thread hanging off a pair of jeans
        a taped package
        or someones wrist

Scissors,
  not even that sharp
    yet it can destroy
      an old memory
      or someones life

Scissors,
  something that can cause scars
    on your wrist
    or legs
    or stomach

Scissors,
  not only on the outside
    but on the inside too

Scissors,
my scars are caused by scissors
    reminding me everyday
    that i was a cutter
