Saving grace

When my saving grace
comes to me in knowing
there’s you out there
In this crazy world
who can warm my soul
when my mind takes me off
To a darken Place
As I close my eyes and dream
Your Sweet face appears
Of an angel I see
Wishful, hopeful dreams
Fill my head
they can take you
To an amazing place
the knowing
There someone in this world
near or far
the thought of them
is a
Saving grace
So when I have my days
I need to rest my weary mind
As I close my eyes
It is you that take me to that place
My angel
My light on my shoulders
that lightens even
My darkest road
where I know
I’m never true lee alone
there’s someone out there
who thinks only of me,
and knowing that
sets me free
