sad and beautiful dream

sad and beautiful dream

I am in a car with townsmen

we are searching

I am sensing
I find a home it is my home

a nicer home than the one before it
and yet somehow the same
It is light and fresh and woody with plants and peaceful
and among the dead that suddenly appear to me
one by one
sitting in silence
I am seeking you
I turn around and you are there smiling and hugging me
if only your were here to hug me now
your hair your smile your motherly eyes
where are the men who will take me to you?
where is this sweet home?
sadness and frustration
restless waking
feeling so alone and cold and wrought with heartache
for the weight of the world

sorrow is losing someone you love

Ok you asked me to critique, and Im going to try, but this is what I apreciate, I like dream poetry, and it is a realm all it's self, so you did well with mystic setting. As a poem with your style, I find it great, so ty WS, here is a link to read- http://www.originalpoetry.com/forum/view/topic/topic_id/4018

thanks lady!

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
