    SACRED GROUND

    Two hundred and sixty one
    days have now passed.
    Since the terrorists attacked
    The United States last.

    The Nation's still reeling,
    we are still at war.
    Our hero's cleared "Ground Zero"
    down to earth's barren floor.

    The workers at "Ground Zero"
    have proven to all.
You can bring down the buildings,
but our spitits do not, waiver at all.

    The last girder stood,
    tall straight and proud.
    As a symbol to terrorists,
let us tell you out loud.

    The United States
    will never surrender!
    and will re-build on
    this "Sacred Ground"

    This is the strength,
    pride, and love of country.
    On which America
    was found!

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
