Rules of the Waiting Game

Rules of the Waiting Game

I'm willing to stop
I willing to wait
As long as love lives
And away goes the hate
I'll struggle through the fight
Stay awake through the night
I'll wait for the light
Until it shines bright.

Give without taking
Create without making
Sleep without waking
Be cold without shaking
Crumble without breaking
Act without faking
Hurt without aching
Love without hating

Not blind, but you see.
Not afraid, but you flee.
Not an ocean, but a sea.
I'm a slave, set me free.

Blake!!! i'M sorry. I wish I could be better.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
