Gaining and Losing
To gain one thing, you will lose another
it is all a cycle, continuing.
choices must be made, even though they are tough
choices through the good times, the bad, and the rough.
no one can gain two things at once,
without hurting someone
i dont know,
just a hunch.
every part in life is chosen,
no such thing is destiny,
if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
you choose your life, the way, and the path
the occasional pebble will trip you
but you must continue on.
you can wait and hope and pray
that that one special person will come to you one day.
never lose hope and never fall down,
ill try my best to keep you off the ground.
