    Romantic

Romantic.... is getting a phone call
In the middle of the day,
When I know he's press for time
    But calls me any way.

Romantic.... is a brush against me
    In the local super mart,
He doesn't have to say a word
As I fill my grocery cart.

Romantic.... is his look of pride
As I'm walking at his side.

Romantic...is the man in my life..
    Who married me
    Who calls me.....
    His wife.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
