    Remembrance

    by Carolyn Ann Sears

    Remembrance of you makes me
    \Smile...
    \Remembrance of you makes me
    \Sigh...
    \Remembrance of you makes me
    \Sad...
\Remembrance of you still live all
    \Around me...
\Remembrance of you shine so bright
\Like the moon and the sun your face
    \Will never fade,
\You're locked in my mind until I
    Exit this lifetime...
    \Remembrance of your voice is
    \Branded in my mind,
\Although its been 30 years since
    \You departed this life...
    \Your memory remain strong
    \In my heart and soul

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
