Rain on a Metal Roof

Rain on a metal roof,
Humms me to sleep...
Abstract and random,
With perfect percussion...
Heavy sheets pound down,
Moving from one end to the other...
Then disappear,
As I slip into slumber...
Peaceful rest awaits a new day,
Filled with fresh clean air and life...
Just waiting to be lived,
Oh, JOY!!!

cool, I hear this all the time, I install these for a living, and they say the rain relaxes the soul, good write.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
