Heaven
When I was just a little girl,Under the age eleven,
I thought the world so beautiful,
I thought it must be Heaven.
From twelve until the age eighteen,
As experience came 'round,
I thought the world a testing place,
Will I go up or down?
From nineteen up to twenty-five,
My mind began to wonder,
Is there really Heaven or hell,
Once I'm six feet under?
Now approaching thirty-two,
My thoughts again new ones,
A better place awaits for me,
When life on hell is done!
Looking back across the years,
I see they change each seven,
Will my thoughts return me to,
The place I knew as Heaven?
