    His Place

    There's a place he keeps
    all his sacred things;
    protected by lock and key!

    It's lined with silk and
    lit up with a glow;
    only chosen eyes shall see!

    An inch of his heart,
    an ounce of his soul;
    it's inviting as can be!

    This place I call
    his guilded cage;
    is a place you won't find me~!

    I loved this. As I read it, I had to smile. This is the opposite of a poem I wrote------ The Ghost Of Her. Some men don't realize the hurt caused by hanging on to the past. Very good poem. TS

    Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

    Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
