    Poem Commentary

    Last July 8th, 2009 I was locked up for six months. Everyday some bodies name was being called to go home. And everyday I wished it was me. So I just decided to write a poem about it. Its nothing like hearing them words "One way", "Pack up", Or "Timed Served".

    "Timed Served"

     Two words,
    One day,
    For months,
    I've prayed,

    These words,
    I wait,
    To hear,
    Them say,

    Two times,
    One day,
    Either or,
    One way,

    One judge,
    One me,
    One time,
    To plee,

    Two roads,
    One's free,
    So I pleed,
    Guilty,

    My sentence,
    More time,
    I serve,
    Whats mine,

    For months,
    I prayed,
    One day,
    Two words,

    One day,
    One guard,
    One voice,
    I heard,

    Lets go,
    Pack up,
    One way,
    "TIME SERVED"

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
