    • It's been a few years since I've checked in..... Looking forward to reading and writing on here again.

    "Shhhhhh Juslisten"

    One day it'll come,
the answer lies beyond the tongue
In the space between words and thoughts is where I reside
    But at times,
I find it difficult to find my way home
    so I wander,
    squandering precious moments,
    thinking noisy thoughts
    exhausting every bit of energy
propelling me deeper into the land of the lost.
Then suddenly I remember the answer.
    And just like that,
    I silence my thoughts.

I dig this piece. To me you are talking about inspiration for a writer.. "In the space between words and thoughts is where I reside" is a great line...but I think you should change it to "the space in between words and thoughts..." To me it flows better...but what do I know. Nice job.

Well said, well written and to the point. It took two reads to remember I go here also much tooooooooo often.

Again, I love the concepts here. I am more inclined to this type of poem. But most people want definite concrete descriptions to hold the hand of this concept through the idea of the poem. It is a two-fer thing. I am not always good at it mself, but see it for what it is. Give the blind something to see, and the thoughtful something to think about. Together it makes a great union.

    good message,nice poem

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
