"old Shoe"
I walked in style for many of mileswith plenty of stubs along my path
lessons I have learned I have definitely
earned and nothing came quick and fast
Sweat is in motion and it flowed like thee
ocean drowning my sole within
Time was the essence as i learned with each
lesson.. each day counting more then the past!
With each tic....of the clock I met a new sock
which lightened up my soggy ways!
My years have past and I no longer walk fast
and cracks and wear have found my way
Tired and worn and some what torn my bones
began to ache!
What should I do!? I'm like an old shoe and like
a coffin the closet is my final resting Place!!!
