"A Cry Over There"

Do I hear a cry over there,
is it a cry of joy or sorrow?
I know there is love ones
there, and I will see them
tomorrow.

There is an empty feeling
I have inside me.  For the
person I love is not here.
Time is moving so slow,
but I know I will see them
tomorrow.

I must be learn to be
strong, for on this earth
we are born and to grow.
I know when its my time
I will see them tomorrow.

As time does past, I do
feel my eyes are heavy.
I sense those who have
gone long ago, those
that I said I will see tomorrow.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
