“Death of A Body”
As I look upon his body, I see
the shell of his spirit. A spirit
will never die, it will always
live as it says in the holy writ.
For his pains and sorrows
are gone. His spirit will live
on, for were he is going is more
beautiful than the brightess
morning dawn.
He lived on this earth until
it was his time to go. Now
that he is gone sometimes
my body can his spirit
with me from head to toe.
Some moment in time I
will leave my body too.
Then I will see my son
that time will be so beautiful
with such a glorious view.
