Other Side of The WIndow

Now time is drawing near,
Time for you to go back again.
Behind that door my dear…
Minutes pass as we sit in silence
Just wishing I could hug and hold you one more time,
Before you go away to pay for your crime…
We put our hands to the window so they meet,
I stand from my seat, and start to cry,
Cause it hurts so bad to say Good-bye;
As I watch you go behind the door,
My heart follows you like so many times before…
You told me this to shall pass, for this will surely be your last…
You say that we will never go through this again,
Cause you can see in me, just how hard it’s been…
Now it’s time for me to go, while all along
Wishing that we were on the same side of the window…
I want you to stop and look back at us standing there,
Just look at all the ones who care…
I ask God for his help to let you know
It’s not worth watching your life go by
From the other side of the window…

this is truth, my brother was in trouble, I hated to see him in that position, but being there for him, made it a bit easier, ty WS

I speak of my son: My only child; 23 years old...He has been behind that window for the past 2 Thanksgiving-Christmas-His past 2 birthdays ...It just tares me apart...I long to touch him and kiss his sweet cheeks...He is not a bad boy and should not even be there...Wrongly accused so others shall be free...
