    New Vow

    If this is hell,

    Don’t let me go to heaven

    Whatever it takes

    To let you know

    That you’ll forever have

    The pieces of my black heart

    A chunk of my soul

    Wrapped in duck tape to

    Just to

    Keep it together

     

    Come hell or high water

    This is the vow I make to you

    The one who saved me from

    Myself

     

    My heart

    Something I’ll never hide or,

    Lock up or,

    Put just out of your reach

     

    This is my new vow

    It’s not twisted or dark

    (like I am),

    It’s not empty or meaningless

    It’s just a vow to you

    The one I love,

    The one who for right or wrong

    Loves me back.

    This is one bad mother of a poem!Christina,this is so amazing!!-It's dark alright-but in such a cool way.-Its such truth!!You know?-thats what you are..You are a writer of truth!Whether people like it/or not!!-That is wicked!!-as for this poem,you so graciously shared-leaving my mouth gasped open-is sexy as all get go!-I think John,is on the right track here.Im going to send this to someone special too-a 10!
