Never say never

The meaning of love is often lost
between the day to day without a care for the cost.
To me what we shared was real and sweet
but you had other ideas and said never to me
I was weakend by your presence and thought I would die
when you destroyed all I knew and then said Goodbye
and like the winds of change promised and the wounds
that time would heal. The true meaning of love
to me
would be revealed,It went way beyond outward appearence and straight
to my soul, with a promise from us both we would never let go.
And so what was once Judgementle and always a mess
turned into to a knowing that we both were blessed.
And each day is fruitful and full of content
we will never have to question how each moment was spent.
For every morning I wake up and thank him who is above
for the peace and the safety of your precious love.
So never say never when it comes to matters of the heart
and know that you cant always finish the tasks that you start
but love freely given and recieved in return produces
a flame that for eternity will burn.
Though life is a journey with it's ups and it's down
It's the acts of the heart that keep you around.
